Bryan. Carla: Spiritwood Photographer

We ventured out for another snowy "WL" wedding a couple of weeks ago to the small town of spirit wood. I loved the elements of being in the country with the rolling hills of the border to the northern Saskatchewan area. The beautiful white birch trees and the massive amounts of frost crystalized on their branches made for very whimsical photos. The drawback was it was around -18 with a brutal windchill which at one time made me almost cry in pain while trying to push my shutter button (It took 20 mins in the car for the pain to leave my fingers) my bride was fearless though even offering to take her coat off to get the shot when need be.

All of the elements worked together to make a truly magical classic wedding. From the peacock feathers, the hair pieces, to the enormous hoop in her dress, I felt like was photographing the russian princess Anastasia. I hope you enjoy looking at these photos from the warmth of your homes.

Chris.Christine: Saskatoon Wedding Photographer

For someone who is originally from the Philippines a wedding in Canada in December is the epitome of exotic. With a temperature of -18 I was worried about my pretty bride, but she amazed me, and showed just how tough brides can be. A small wedding with family coming from locations such as Saudi Arabia made the day even more special. These two are some of the kindest people I have ever met and I know that they will be a great couple. Congratulations you two.

Saskatoon Family Photographer- Timmer Family

We had our first snowfall here in Saskatoon and the Timmer family was awesome. They bundled up there kiddies and were good sports about going through a little snow ( and some mud). It paid off though. I think these kids have the cutest clothes ever. There mom is an awesome shopper. Between cowboy hats, and a mother and daughters amazing eyes it proved to be a beautiful winter day full of great photos. Enjoy

Doesn't she have AMAZING eyes!

I don't know what it is about this little guy but sometimes this expression reminds me of Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes

Kisses and Disses: Gummy Bears and Concerts

I thought the snow we had a couple of weeks ago was going to be the end of it until at least december but unfortunately that didn't happen. Today we were graced with some heavy slushy snow and grey skies. I hate this un-named season between the beautiful leaves and fresh smell of fall, and the white, pretty, snowboard filled wonder of winter. It is kind of like the black sheep of the season family that no one likes to mention but that is looped in with all of the other family members as if it doesn't exist. A part from the mud, slush, and grayness comes the inevitible cold and flu season which kelly and I are battling through at the moment. At least it gives us a lot of excuses to cuddle up with tea, blankets, and tv shows on DVD....
this brings me to another edition of..... KISSES & DISSES

* The Jezabels ( Kel and I went to see this aussie band the other night and her voice gave me chills)

( It is still somewhat hard to find there music on youtube and the internet but they do have a MYspace page))

* Ebay ( I have been making some camera equipment purchases for our trip)
* Turkey Dinner ( I am cooking my first ever Turkey today...i am really hoping it turns out)
* Family Photos ( These are my aunts and uncles on my dad's side of the family)

* Strange head colds
* Not having a maid when your sick
* Resorting to eating Gummy Bears rather then have to cook yourself food :(

Adios

Ethan.Ebony : Edmonton Wedding Photographer

The sun shone, the weather stayed warm, the leaves popped with color, the sky and sun flairs were magical. All in all it was a perfect day for a wedding. Ebony was cool and collected all morning, feeling bubbly and excited. Ethan helped finish the last minute wedding plans while feeling the nervous anticipation. It was an emotional, happy, beautiful wedding. Full of fun, family, and great friends.
These two have made an impression on the people around them which was evident by all the heartfelt touches and help put into this wedding. It was a wonderful to be apart of this wedding and to capture all of your special moments.

So on behalf of Kel and I thankyou for letting us be part of your special day...and for not getting married in Edmonton in December!
